Thyme Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 8, 2026

This policy covers the Thyme app on iOS and Android. The short version: the developer does not

receive, collect, or share your data. Thyme has no account system, no ads, no tracking, and no

developer-operated cloud service. Your data is processed locally on your device.

What the app stores and how it is used

Thyme stores the data you create while using it: protocol schedules, dose and activity history,

and your settings. This may include information you consider sensitive, such as which supplement

protocols you follow and when you take doses. The app uses this data for exactly one purpose:

scheduling your reminders and alarms, showing your history, and producing exports you request.

This data is stored on your device, protected by your operating system's app sandbox. The app

adds no encryption of its own on top of the platform's protections, and it has no server: the

developer cannot see, receive, or restore your data. It can leave your device only through the

system backup described below or through an export you perform yourself.

Deleting a history entry or the whole app removes the data from your device. Copies that already

exist in your system backup or in files you exported are outside the app's control.

What the app does not do

identifiers off your device.

tracking components. Standard platform libraries process data locally and do not transmit it.

Manual export

You can manually export your history as a JSON file. You choose where the file is saved and who,

if anyone, receives it. The app never sends this file anywhere on its own.

Device backups

Your operating system may include the app's local data in your device backup, according to your

own system backup settings. Those backups are managed by your device and your platform provider,

not by Thyme.

Notifications and alarms

All reminders, notifications, and alarms are scheduled and processed locally on your device.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes all of its data, except any copies you created yourself through export

or device backups.

Children

Thyme is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
